FITNESS FACE-OFF CHALLENGES

Opening Buy-In Challenge 10:00 am

Format: 12-minute EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute)


💥 All athletes participate simultaneously

  •  Team that completes all 12 minutes = 10 points
  • Each gym rotates through 3 stations.
    Points awarded by placement (1st = 5 pts, 5th = 1 pt).


🔁 Movement Cycle:

Minute Movement Reps

MIN 1  Jumping Jacks  30

MIN 2  Push-Up             25

MIN 3  Jump Squats     20

MIN 4  Burpees.            15

5–8  MIN REPEAT CYCLE
9-12 MIN REPEAT CYCLE


✅ Scoring:

  • Teams that complete all 12 minutes = 10 points


TEAM GRIND CHALLENGE 10:30 am

Format: Each gym rotates through 3 stations.

Points awarded by placement (1st = 5 pts, 5th = 1 pt)


STATION 1

Max Rep Power Station Challenge: 135 lbs. 

Barbell – Burpee into Deadlift
Goal: Complete 80 team reps
⏱ Time Cap: 15 minutes

🔁 Team Rotation Allowed 


✅ Rules:

  • Each rep = burpee > deadlift (full lockout)
  • Rotate athletes freely
  • First team to reach 80 wins 
  • Timed Cap- 15 Mins


STATION 2

Time-Based Weighted Lunge Relay Challenge

Goal: Lunge from 10 to 100 yds and back, 4 times (800 yards total)  

8  athletes (Men & Women)

Men: 50 lbs. DBs | Women: 30 lbs. DBs


✅ Rules:

  • Each athlete lunges 100 yards, partner lunges back (1 full round)
  • Each team must complete 4 round trips (800 yards total)
  • Dumbbells may not be dropped during lunge
    • Penalty: 15 push-ups on the spot before continuing


STATION 3

Pull-up Ladder & Sprint Tag Team
Goal: Complete pull-up ladder from 10 to 1 reps

🔁 Team Rotations Allowed


✅ Rules: Teams of two alternate between pull‑ups and 100‑yard sprints. You start with 10 reps, then decrease by 1 each round until the final set of 1 pull‑up.

Round 1:

    •    Athlete A does 10 pull-ups, then holds chin above the bar or dead hang.

    •    While Athlete A holds, Athlete B sprints 100 yards out and back.

  •     When Athlete B returns, switch roles:
  •     Athlete B now does 10 pull-ups, then holds
  •   Athlete A sprints 100 yards out and back.


Round 2:

    •    The next pair begins, following the same format, starting with 9 pull-ups and decreasing by 1 each round.

Continue this pattern down to 1 final pull-up.

  • Hold during sprint required:
    • Chin-above-bar hold = full points
    • Dead hang hold = half points for that round
  • If the hold breaks:
    • Athlete does 15 push-ups
    • Runner must restart sprint

GYM WARS TRAINERS FACE-OFF 12:00 pm

Format: 3 Trainers/Coaches per gym

Structure: Full-body team gauntlet🔄 

🔁Rotation-Based


Part 1: Push-Up Sprint Chain

  • 2 teammates hold push-up plank at 10-yard line
  • 1 teammate sprints 100 yards and back then performs 25 push-ups, then enters plank hold, then another teammate sprints 100 yards and back, then enters plank hold. 
  • Cycle repeats until all 3 teammates complete sprint + push-ups


Part 2:  Tire Flip & Chin-Up Gauntlet

  •  Start: 1 trainer flips tire 10 yards (10–20 yd line)
  • Then runs back to start and performs 10 chin-ups
  • Next trainer flips tire from 20–30 yd line
  • Then runs back and completes 10 chin-ups
  • Repeat until tire reaches 100-yard line


✅ Rules:

  • No skipping chin-ups
  • Flipper must finish chin-ups before next flip
  • Team must rotate roles (no same person flipping twice in a row)
